About this event
Join the Orange Land Trust at one of our major fundraisers for the year. All proceeds support the mission of the Land Trust to preserve open space in the Town of Orange.
Tickets are required for this event. Parking for the event is at the Orange Middle School. There is easy access to the Racebrook Tract from Amity. This is a 1 mile hike on fairly level terrain that will last approx 1 hour. All tickets sales go to support the land trusts mission of purchasing open space in the Town of Orange, CT.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited for each event and tickets are required.
We love our furry friends, but NO PETS OF ANY KIND allowed at the event (other than the goats, of course).
8:30 - 9:30 - (HIKE 1) Come hike with goats through the beautiful trails of Racebrook Tract with the goats and learn about some of Orange’s native plants & animals. You'll enjoy the opportunity to play and socialize with the goats. Tickets are $20pp/$50 for family
Please be prepared with adequate walking/hiking shoes, check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. It will be June so please bring your own supply of water.

11:30 - 1:00 - (Event 3) Enjoy our Kids with "Kids"event. No hiking involved on this one. We will gather all the goats in a grassy area. A great opportunity for kids to pet, hold and feed the funny, friendly goats that will be our guests for the day. Kids will prepare a "goat salad" to feed the goats (please consider bringing an apple, carrot, or raisins to add to your salad). Human kids will also make a hoofprint craft to take home!! Great opportunity to learn about goats. Adults are free for this event, $10 per child
