Event description
Goal definition and strategic planning for early-stage nonprofits needed to grow and scale a successful and impactful organization

About this Event

Strategic Planning is an important step to make your path clear to everyone involved in your organization. Clear and realistic planning can determine the early success of your organization and help drive fundraising.

Strategic planning is also more than a theoretical exercise. The strategies and goals you set early-on should be aligned with the population you serve and the reality of your organization.

At this event, you will learn the basics of strategic planning and goal definition for new nonprofit organizations. We've designed our workshop to be a hands-on process where we share our experience and method for planning with startups.

We will cover:

  • Crafting your mission and vision statements
  • Organizational history, board lists, program descriptions
  • Defining major goal categories
  • Achieving your goals: Strategies, resources, and responsibilities
