Gmail Basics

Monday, July 22

Lancaster Public Library is pleased to offer free computer classes to the public. Classes are given by experienced volunteers.

Email newbies will learn how to write, format, and send emails using the Gmail platform, as well as how to manage an inbox; how to forward, print, and reply to emails; and how to keep your information safe when communicating by email.

Attendees should know how to type and how to use a mouse.

Where: Computer training room on 2nd floor of Lancaster City Library.

Registration is required and please do so only if you plan to attend the class. Please make every effort to show up on time. The doors to the Computer Training Room will be locked at 6:10, and no one will be allowed to enter after that time.

Prerequisites: A Lancaster County library card in good standing. Must be 18 or older.

Class size is capped at eight students, and priority will be given to newcomers. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel the registration of a student if s/he has taken the class multiple times. Please call the reference desk at 394-2651 x128 with any questions.

Metered parking is available on Duke Street and behind the library. The Duke Street Garage is also across the street from the library.
