Glow Paddle ATX

Rowing Dock & TYLER'S Present Glow Paddle ATX benefiting The Flatwater Foundation. SUP, Kayak and Canoe on Lady Bird Lake like never before! Leave the drab at home and come dressed in your brightest, shiniest and most flamboyant apparel. Anything goes, the more outrageous the better! Each Glow Paddler will receive a limited edition glow-in-the-dark TYLER'S tee + a glowing helium balloon to attach to their vessel.

Check in: 7-7:30PM
Paddle start time: 8PM
Off water by: 10PM
Glow Paddlers will check-in and begin paddling from Rowing Dock. Paddlers will make their way downstream to 1st Street Bridge where they will turn around and head back upstream to Rowing Dock (a grand total of 3.6 miles).
SAFE PADDLING RULES
Your safety is our number one concern. Please read the information below and ride by it.
* All paddlers are required to wear a PFD or life jacket.
* Stay towards the shore on your right, when possible.
* At no time should you pass the lead Glow Paddle staff member.
* Sitting and kneeling on your board is 100% okay. If you feel tired, please rest. This is not a race.
* Please stay together and within the perimeters of the Glow Paddle staff.
* Follow the directions of the Glow Paddle staff.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Children under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign a Rowing Dock rental waiver. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the water.
**we also recommend that children under the age of 12 paddles in a vessel with an adult.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Rowing Dock has a private parking lot located on Stratford Drive. Spillover parking is available on the street along Stratford and under the MoPac bridge.
What can I bring into the event?
Rowing Dock offers cubbies for items like towels, a chance of clothes, and snacks or drinks. (NO GLASS)
We recommend that you leave your valuables at home or locked in the trunk of your car. Rowing Dock will hold onto keys at the main hut and will offer splash bags for small item storage. ** splash bags are NOT waterproof**
