In November 2013, Global Pride Business Coalition partnered with the National Minority Business Council, Inc. (NMBC), to establish an Entrepreneurship Boot Camp targeting Same Gender Loving/Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, individuals transitioning from employee to entrepreneur and early-stage entrepreneurs. The Boot Camp is a 12-hour course of instruction and engagement that focuses on creating successful business and social entrepreneurs. Its instructors are business veterans who themselves have made the successful transition from employee to entrepreneurship and their instruction is greared directly toward SGL/LGBT people of color.

Global Pride Business Coalition
GPBC, an initiative of National Minority Business Council, offers business development services and programming to SGL/LGBTQ entrepreneurs and small business owners. The initiative was born out of the November 2013 National Minority Business Council (NMBC) collaboration with the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) and U.S. Small Business Administration, Many Faces, One Dream Economic Empowerment Conference for LGBT Communities of Color held in New York City. GPBC is spearheaded by SGL/LGBTQ business professionals and entrepreneurs who strive to expand networking opportunities to minorities and women business owners that will enhance and assure projected goal attainment and longevity in business. Member organizations include, Harlem Pride, Global Network of Black Pride, National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, The Gatekeepers Collective, and Backdoor Media.
