On October 1, the Longwood Symphony Orchestra will perform in Jordan Hall, with proceeds from the concert benefitting Global Oncology (GO). A young 501(c) (3) organization, GO’s mission is to bring the best in cancer care to under-served patients globally. Please visit www.globalonc.org for a description of GO’s initiatives that already have had impact.
At this event, Dr. Edward J. Benz, Jr. will receive our first Global Oncology Visionary Award. Dr. Benz is the President and CEO of Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute who will retire later this year. A longtime friend and supporter of GO, he has been a leader in improving access to high quality cancer care.
If you cannot attend on October 1, but you still want to donate to GO, please visit: globalonc.org/donate. Thank you!
