International sales, including those of technological and innovative products, turns out to be a complex mission. In addition, marketing approaches have changed and organizations are required to adjust to the new digital game rules.

Our meetup will combine international marketing strategy and digital and practical marketing for B2B companies, which are essential to building a professional marketing machine for expansion into international markets.

Personal B2B Marketing in the Customer and Data Era:
Marketing approaches and methodologies have changed and organizations need to adjust to the new rules of the game and to the rise of personal marketing. Synergy between sales and marketing forms a new dimension, and with the right technology, is key to success in B2B companies.
Gil Kochavi will outline the changes that the marketing world is undergoing and the need to adopt emerging digital marketing strategies.
The lecture combines digital marketing strategy with the needs of the sales department, the IT environment and an understanding of organizational implications and translates this into practical steps that will position your company as a leading player in the international arena.

My product is great- why is it so difficult to sell it in international markets?
A common phenomenon among B2B software and startup companies is their leaders' frustration, that in spite of having an excellent product, it is still very difficult to sell it abroad. The frustration is especially pronounced when it comes to an innovative product, or one that has succeeded in the local market. However, international sales are more complicated.
It turns out that many technological and startup companies, operate under the false assumption that a good product is sufficient to succeed in International markets.

Gil has over 15 years of experience in defining and implementing Customer Management and Customer Analytics solutions and in customer-driven marketing, both as an executive and as a senior consultant in Israel and abroad. Gil has led over 100 strategic, analytical and implementation processes in complex organizational environments, interfacing with senior management at leading corporates and B2B companies. Gil combines in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, technological know-how and business understanding, in order to harness technology to realize business needs through creative, practical, and quick win solutions.

About Ori Ainy:
Founder of Beam Global (http://beamglobal.co.il), which helps B2B software and start-up companies penetrate global markets and successfully compete with global corporations. Ori advises on international marketing, sales, and Biz Dev and provides sales execution services, including recruitment of channel partners. He lectures on international marketing for the Export Institute, consults for the Foreign Trade Administration; and is a mentor and judge at MassChallenge.
