Since 2010 more than 8,000 leaders gathered in New York City for Movement Day, from as many as 360 cites, 40 states and 14 nations. For the first time in recorded NYC history, spiritual leaders from 100 global cities are expected to attend Movement Day Global Cities 2016 from October 25 - 27 at the Javits Center. We are deeply delighted that Intercessory Prayer Ministry International (IPMI) has been invited by The New York City Leadership Center, the producers of Movement Day Global Cities 2016, to hold this special Prayer Gathering at the Brooklyn Tabernacle on October 24 to facilitate over 3000 leaders from New York City and around the world to gather to pray. IPMI is being joined by some of the leading Christian organizations in New York City including, The New York City Leadership Center, Concerts of Prayer Greater New York, Christian Union and CONLICO, in the planning and hosting of the event. We are quite excited about the hosting of this historic prayer gathering at this time, particularly as we reflect on New York City's unique role as a strategic global catalyst for spiritual awakening in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the prospect this gathering holds for the various nations we anticipate will be represented at this prayer gathering.
