About this event
The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) is the world’s largest international gathering of investigative and data journalists. The conferences have trained over 8,000 reporters and resulted in the founding of investigative teams, nonprofit newsrooms, and headline-making stories around the world.
To attend the Global Investigative Journalism Conference, you must be a professional journalist, journalism student, or an employee of a nonprofit, NGO, or educational organization, or its equivalent, that actively works in support of investigative reporting and related data journalism.
Non-journalists must request approval to attend by contacting GIJC21@gijn.org.
#GIJC21 is featuring an extraordinary lineup of the world’s most enterprising journalists with an international schedule that shifts across the globe. We’ve got expert panels, hands-on workshops, and networking sessions to get you connected around the world. Here's the full program.
The conference’s Asia/Pacific day — on Thursday, November 4 — is co-hosted by Australia’s Judith Neilson Institute (JNI).
Early bird tickets were on sale for US$100 until September 20. General registration is US$125 until October 25. Students may attend for US$50.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be sent via email to GIJC21@gijn.org. Until October 25 cancellations are fully refundable except for the Eventbrite processing fees.
