Welcome to the Global Goals World Cup Nairobi Team Registration page.
Thank you so much for taking the time to register for the March 5 2017 event! We can't wait to hear about your team.
On this page you can enter your team to be selected to play in the Global Goals World Cup Regional tournament in Nairobi. The winning team will play in the final in New York City in September.
The selected teams will be notified by early February giving you plenty of time to organize your travel and stay in Nairobi.
This is how it works:
A Global Goals World Cup team consists of any 5-8 women aged 16 and up. You can represent an organization, a company, a country or just yourselves!
To enter, you must be available to be in Nairobi from March 5. 2017. Unless otherwise indicated by the organizers, teams must cover their own travel and accommodation.
Our tournaments are about bringing all kinds of amazing women together to meet, play and make some noise for the world we want. To play in our tournament soccer skills are optional, but passion for sustainable development is mandatory!
What will your team experience?
Before:
Workshops and exposure before the games, sharing your passion for sustainable development.
During:
Number of games: 5-6/team
Duration: 6 minute long soccer games, 5 vs 5 on street soccer size pitches.
Presentation of your team, and your Global Goal
Meet other Global Goals activists from around the region
Team dinner after the games with all the participants
After:
Join a global community of Global Goals Champions, and continue to take action for the world you want.
We need the following information from you:
- Which of the 17 UN Global Goals do you want to represent?
- Why you are passionate about this goal, and what will you be doing/are you already doing for this goal?
- Background on your team: Where are you from, what is your story?
- A team picture. Send your picture to mmg@eirsoccer.com Remember to write your team name in the title.

In the registration process you will have the option to create a fan registration for your team, inviting your crowd to support you. Once you ar eresgistered, we will send updates to your designated team captain.
