Deep Dive Sessions in various locations in Copenhagen

On Wednesday the 31th, we have organized a series of three-hour Deep Dive Sessions around Copenhagen, and all you have to do is to pick the one you find the most interesting.

Below you will find some more information about each deep dive. You can sign up to one of them via this link: https://goo.gl/KtXX83

Deep dive session 1

How to anchor and engage employees in the SDGs

Research shows that employees are more loyal to their company if it is mission-driven. Many businesses have already seen the potential and importance of joining the world’s most urgent mission right now: reaching the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Yet finding the best ways to engage and motivate employees in the goals can be a challenge for any employer. In this session, co-arranged by DI’s Filantropi til Forretning project, the sustainability-driven Danish companies ROCKWOOL Group, Chr. Hansen, and Herning Vand provide you with tools, inspiration and best practices to help your company get started to engage employees.

Time & date: October 31, 9.00-12.00 (including a light lunch)

Location: Confederation of Danish Industry, H. C. Andersens Blvd. 18, 1787 Copenhagen V

Deep dive session 2

Using the SDGs as a lever for business innovation

Are you representing an SME and eager to learn how your company can use the SDGs as a lever for concrete product, service or business model innovation? In this workshop, you will be presented with the learnings and results from the 15 SMEs participating in the SDG Accelerator program, a UNDP programme aiming to support companies in developing innovative solutions with a significant business potential and impact on the SDGs. Learn more about the program via UNDP's website.

Time & date: October 31, 9.00-12.00 (including a light lunch)

Location: the UN City, Marmorvej 51, 2100 Copenhagen

Deep dive session 3

Are you ready for the circular economy?

Join this hands-on workshop and learn how to advance the readiness of Circular Economy (CE) integration into your company. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to perform a self-assessment of your CE readiness. You will also be inspired by how companies like Konecranes, DriveNow, Vigga, Grundfos, and Össur are grasping the opportunities that can be achieved when transitioning from linear to circular business. The workshop is organized by MATCHe (a CE program for companies by the Technical University of Denmark) and Chora Connection.

Time & date: October 31, 9.00-12.00 (including a light lunch)

Location: Chora Connection, Sortedam dossering 3D, 3, 2200 Copenhagen N

Deep dive session 4

How to make a great Communication on Progress (CoP)

Are you wondering whether your CoP report can tick all the compliance boxes – UNGC, the EU/national non-financial reporting rules, investor ESG questions etc.? Are you wishing you got more downloads of your CoP from your website? Are you looking for inspiration on how to improve your reporting process?

In this session, Deloitte will give you inspiration and “food for thought” on how to report on the UNGC’s 10 principles and make a great annual Communication on Progress that can serve as a wider communication tool with your different stakeholders.

Time & date: October 31, 9.00-12.00 (including a light lunch)

Location: Deloitte, Weidekampsgade 6, 2300 Copenhagen S.
