Join us on September 12, 2018 for a special breakfast discussion!

The Paris Climate Agreement set out the pathway for avoiding the worst impacts of climate change, and by all accounts banks locally and around the world play two very important roles in keeping us on that pathway. A distinguished panel of experts will take a look at the array of finance sector initiatives and engagements, and the alignment of finance (low carbon and high carbon) with the Agreement.

In a conversation moderated by Amalgamated Bank's VP of Sustainable Banking, Ivan Frishberg, hear from these three accomplished climate leaders:

  • Marilyn Waite, Climate Finance Program Officer, Hewlet Foundation
  • Stephen Kretzmann, Executive Director & Founder, Oil Change International
  • Kees Ouboter, Responsible Investment Advisor, ACTIAM ESG Research & Platform of Carbon Accounting for Financials
  • Alison Kirsch, Climate & Energy Program Rainforest Action Network

8:30 am - Doors open, join us for breakfast and networking

9:00 am - Panel begins

10:00 am - Event ends

Please note this event is at New Resource Bank in downtown San Francisco. Public transportation is convenient and encouraged as street parking is limited.
