Because the on-campus Statler Hotel will not be economical for most students, the Cornell Chapter would recommend attendees to book rooms in hotels located in downtown Ithaca (currently 1 room with 4 people will cost around $50 - $70 per person).
Most attendees should be arriving at Cornell on Friday night through the Coach Shortline bus service, Tompkins Airport, Syracuse Airport, or carpooling.
For the attendees that come through Syracuse airport, we have already reached out to the Syracuse chapter to help us coordinate bus rides or carpools to Ithaca.
Once attendees arrive onto Cornell campus, our chapter members will be at a certain location to be determined nearer to the actual summit, to help with accommodations.
On the morning of the summit, at around 8AM, our chapter will send members to locations in downtown Ithaca where attendees' hotels are clustered, and ensure a safe and timely arrival to campus where the summit will begin.
We are planning to raise more funds through local sponsors to pay for transportation of attendees from the campus to their respective hotels, and from the hotels to the campus in the morning of the summit.
