5. Short Talks: Visage - Attendee Management done right with .net 6 and Azure, and secured with Auth0 Actions
Category: azure@business <- Showcase use cases
As a community, we have done a lot of meetups [over a 100 this past decade] and our biggest issue is shorlisting attendees for events which are many times over houseful. And as our wont, we decided to build an app to help us. Witness a sneak peek into the Visage App built with the latest goodies from .net 6 [Blazor WASM ] and deployed on....no prize for guessing..Azure[Azure Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB]. We then dive into Custom Authentication with Auth0 and role management done with Auth0 Actions
So if you want to find out who to thank for [or blame if not shortlisted :-)], come and say hi to Visage. Also learn how you can contribute to it.[We are an OSS community after all]
Speaker: Augustine Correa
He is a Microsoft MVP and Auth0 Ambassador, who is also the organizer for this bootcamp, and the community events behind it for the last 12 years. So apparently he knows a thing or two about meetups, and attendee management.
