Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment (GATE): An Introduction
Overview
What Is GATE?: An Introduction
The Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment (GATE) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2009 in Los Angeles by John Raatz, with honorary co-founders author Eckhart Tolle and actorJim Carrey. GATE was established to serve and inspire creative artists and professionals in entertainment, the arts, and media who seek to integrate **consciousness, creativity, and transformation** in their work and lives.
GATE’s mission is to support creative artists and the evolution of entertainment and media toward content and creative processes that uplift, enlighten, and expand human awareness. It envisions a global community of Creatives who recognize their potential not only as artists and storytellers but also as agents of cultural and spiritual transformation.
Through its events, workshops, dialogues, and educational programs, GATE provides wisdom, resources, and community for what it calls “the Creative Journey of Life.” Its offerings explore the deeper relationship between artistry and spirituality, addressing the inner and outer challenges faced by today’s creative professionals.
In its new phase, GATE is developing a re-envisioned, artist-centric platform that empowers Creatives to connect, learn, and collaborate—cultivating personal growth, artistic excellence, and meaningful social impact.
In essence, GATE stands at the intersection of artistry, consciousness, and transformation, offering a home for those who feel called to create from a deeper, more awakened place.
