About this event
Shane Vaughan presents this active seminar which will look into the themes and concepts present in his current work on display for the MA Art & Process Exhibition. Glitch Art is a term used to describe work created by manipulating or discovering errors in digital systems.
Throughout the year, Shane has been exploring glitches and digital distortions which he has used to create a series of portraits. Here, Shane invites artists, students, and those intersted in technology to join him for a day of glitch-making and discovering.
To attend, you will need to bring a laptop which has a text editor (Word/Text/Notepad, etc) and Audacity, which you can download here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/
You will also need the ability to create JPG or Raw photo files. A camera, camera-phone, and photoshop are useful here.
The Talk is free, but places are limited so book early to avoid disapointment.
