Using the copper foil method of stained glass and wire wrapping, participants will craft unique and beautiful mobiles that can hang in front of a window to cast colorful shadows or from a ceiling in any part of the house.

Choose a favorite theme, a favorite color, or a favorite shape to inspire your mobile, and watch it grow as you progress through this 4-session workshop learning and refining your glass cutting, soldering, and balance skills.

All are welcome! No experience necessary, but all levels welcome.

All materials will be provided.

Limit: 12

Members: $150; Not-Yet-Members: $180

Cancellation Policy: A $50 non-refundable registration fee is included in the registration. We do not issue refunds to workshops missed by the student.

About the Instructor

Emily Bhargava is an artist and community organizer who has been teaching and leading community art projects for more than 20 years. As a stained glass artist, mosaic artist, muralist, and a facilitator, Emily often works on the border between art and public health, using art to share health information, to increase community capacity and collaboration, and to increase engagement in building healthy communities. Glass is her preferred medium, as it has the potential to transform spaces and change as the light changes.
