Event Details

Thanks for your interest in GLAM Craft Show! This year's show will take place on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Nov. 1, 2017 by 11:59 p.m.

EVENT DATE AND TIME: Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VENUE: This year we are moving to a new location -- First Magnitude Brewing Company, 1220 SE Veitch Street, Gainesville, FL 32601. This venue will offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for vendors. Note that all vendor spaces will be open air, so please dress accordingly. The outdoor tables will be in the tree-covered beer garden. The outdoor booths will be in a gravel parking lot that all shoppers will walk through on their way in. TABLES / BOOTHS: Vendors can choose to apply for an outdoor 10' x 10' booth space ($135), an outdoor 8' table space ($85), or an indoor 8' table space ($85). One table is provided for each type of space. Vendors who elect outdoor 10' x 10' booth spaces may bring their own pop-up tent, no greater than 10' x 10', and additional table(s) or displays that will fit within the alotted space. All tents must be anchored securely.  Limited spaces are available. If one option is sold out, organizer may offer you the chance to secure an alternate spot. **If you want a table removed from your space to make room for a special display or garment rack, please mark this on your application.**

SHARING SPACE: We allow vendors to share spaces. Please email us before applying at glamcraftshow@gmail.com for instructions.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

*** Update -- This year we are also accepting vendors who sell vintage items. Yay! ***

We always receive more applications than we can accept. Please know that we work hard to strike the right balance of vendors for our shoppers. We favor vendors who make unique, handmade, giftable items that are fresh and unexpected, or even edgy and quirky. We do not accept vendors who resell items made entirely by someone else (e.g., imported or wholesale items). To be clear, it's okay to buy mass-produced T-shirts and screenprint them with your own designs. It's not okay to buy jewelry or clothing that's handmade in another country and sell it as your own work. If you think there is any grey area with what you make/sell, be sure to address this on your application. We also try to limit the number of vendors who sell within a single category (e.g., soaps/bath/beauty and jewelry). All applicants must submit photos of their work that are representative of what they would offer for sale at GLAM. Vendors who make items for guys, kids, and pets are especially encouraged to apply.

NOTIFICATION: All applicants will be notified of their status by November 15, 2017, if not before.

VENDOR FEE: If you are accepted, the producer will retain the vendor fee that you paid via EventBrite. If you are not accepted, the producer will return your payment by November 15, 2017.

SET UP AND BREAKDOWN: Vendor set-up will start at 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 3, and all vendors must have their display set up and ready for customers by 10:00 a.m. Vendors may not begin breaking down their display until the event has ended at 4 p.m. If you break down early, you may not be accepted for future shows.
