Event description

Description

A fun, interactive workshop using clothing we have known and worn as prompt for writing episodes from our personal histories. We will do some "warm ups" as well as write some episodes from our lives. Personal history can be expressed in many ways - visual art, performance, songwriting, poetry. We will look at some of those examples and consider how we might go on from here.

Wine and water and nibbles provided. Bring laptops or paper notebooks.

Inspired by my most recent (non-fiction) book: Glad Rags: Red Panties, Cowgirl Boots and a Sweet Dress to Die For - inspiring clothes and the women who wear them
