Bhagavad-Gita at a Glance is a course sharing insights into a deeper understanding of the Bhagavad-gita, the essential yoga text. Although profound concepts of philosophy will be covered, the material is presented in a way that is clear and easy to understand.

The course consists of four 2 hour classes.

Class 1: Yoga of Dejection – clearly defines avidya (ignorance) and its corollaries–ego, attachment, aversion, clinging—using the characters of the Gita presented as archetypes, (Drtarastra, Duryodhana, and Arjuna).

Classes 2: The Secret Knowledge – covers what the Gita refers to as “secret” knowledge which serves as a prerequisite for the various practices of yoga.

Class 3: Karma – Jnana – Yoga – Bhakti – covers four yoga disciplines spoken of in the Gita, namely Karma, Jnana, Yoga & Bhakti.

Class 4: Embodied Knowledge – covers the types of perfection that knowledge and discipline give rise to.
