Description

Walking with Lanterns is a German tradition for the time around St. Martin's Day. In November children (usually in kindergarten age or younger) walk along the streets holding colorful, often self-made lanterns.

The event will include crafts, lantern making, food & drinks and a lantern parade through the Presidio.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

CRAFTS + ACTIVITIES

2:00-4:00 pm
Lantern Making Craft
Location: Lawn area between 4 + 5 Funston Avenue

2:00-4:15 pm
Kinder Program Activities (face-painting, games, etc)
Location: Lawn area around 4 Funston Avenue

MUSIC, DANCE + PRODUCTION

4:30-5:00 pm
Intro by school leadership
Children's performance and songs

5:00 - 5:30 pm
Lantern Parade through the Presidio - starts at 4 Funston Ave

FOOD + DRINKS

2:00 - 6:00 pm
Bake Sale, pretzels + coffee, water and apple spritzer (Apfelschorle)
Gluehwein
Little Red Riding Truck
