Description

New for 2017, the Girl's Rugby Academy, in association with RugbyCamps.ie & PSA Academies, will provide an exceptional high performance rugby camp experience for girls from 12 to 18 years of aged.

The 3 night programme will give players a fantastic chance to maximise their rugby potential via;

  • Coaching Excellence: player-specific focus, with maximum 1 to 15 coach to player ratio
  • High end venue (RACE Academy) with excellent sports and residential facilities
  • World class partners across nutrition, sports psychology & other key programme areas
  • Use of cutting edge sports tech equipment

The Residential Programme, priced at €245 Early Bird (Ends 10th July - see Ts&Cs) or €295* Full Price includes;

  • 3 nights shared full board accommodation in the RACE Academy
  • Transfers from public transport hubs in Kildare Town
  • All meals including end of camp awards dinner
  • Full range of rugby and leisure activities
  • The PSA Girl's Rugby Academy player pack including branded training gear and other partner-related merchandise

*includes all applicable taxes and payment charges but excludes transport costs to Kildare Town. A minimum of 15 players are required for the programme to be delivered – deadline for cancellation will be 2 weeks before the delivery of each week. See full Ts&Cs.

The Non-Residential Programme, priced at €185 Early Bird (Ends 10th July - see Ts&Cs) or €225 Full Price includes;

  • 9am - 5pm attendance at camp
  • All lunches and snacks plus end of camp awards dinner

  • The PSA Girl's Rugby Academy player pack including branded training gear and other partner-related merchandise

How will places be allocated?

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Players (girls only) must be between 12-18 years old at the date of the event

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be transport provided on days of arrival (Thursday 10th August) and departure (Sunday 13th August) from the main train and bus stations in Kildare Town. All arrival and departure information needs to be confirmed with the organisers in advance and availability is subject to numbers. There will be no transport provided on the other days of the programme, apart from if/when players are being brought to external activities as part of the Academy programme.

What should I bring to PSA Girls Rugby Academy?

The players must bring adequate clothing for multiple rugby sessions, clothing for non-rugby activities and rest times. A full information pack including kit list will be provided in advance of the event.

How does registration work?

Where, available all parents/guardians will be required to bring their booking confirmation & to sign their players in on the first day of the Academy. Where players are travelling unaccompanied, they will need to have all the applicable confirmation and signed documentation with them.

Is there a discipline policy for the camps?

The organisers and venue (RACE Academy) reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any participant from the Girl's Rugby Academy who is deemed to be acting in a manner that is detrimental to the running or enjoyment of the Academy for other participants. In such circumstances, no refund will be available and the parents will be required to make their own arrangements to transport the participant offsite. See our booking Ts&Cs for details.

What is the policy on use of images for marketing?

By attending the camp, particpants are opting in to their player's image being used for promotional use. No participant will be identified by name in print or any other format, unless permission has been expressly sought and given by their parent/guardian

What is the mobile phone policy?

Mobile phones or similar electonic devices are premitted on the Academy but only at desiganted times during the day. All personal belongings brought to the Academy are done so at the owner's own risk.

What's the refund policy?

A refund, net of a 20% deposit plus any taxes or Eventbrite fees applicable, can only be claimed if contacting the organisers by email at info@rugbycamps.ie a minimum of 7 days before the start of the Academy. See our standard booking Ts&Cs here.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

To speed up initial registration, please can you ensure that you or the player have the e-ticket printed for Academy registration/check in on Sunday 13th (for Residential players) or Monday 14th (for Non-Residential players)

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, either on Eventbrite or by emailing info@rugbycamps.ie or sales@psaacademies.com

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer these by contacting us on email at info@rugbycamps.ie or sales@psaacademies.com up to 24 hours before the Academy start

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, you will need to have notified us a minimum or 24 hours in advance. No player is unregistered or has not paid in full will be able to participate in the Academy for insurance purposes
