Girls on the Run Rhode Island Fall 2017 Coach Training #3

Description
In-person coach training is required for ALL coaches. Training covers Council Specific Information in the first hour followed by Girls on the Run “National Coach Training.” The total duration is 4 hours. Online pre-work will be sent out at the end of July. Please complete these modules to maximize the benefit of in-person training!
NEW Coaches must attend the full duration. RETURNING Coaches must attend the first hour. Please dress comfortably and come ready to move!
GOTRRI will offer three training sessions (food & drink will be provided):
Wednesday 8/23 5:00-9:00pm
Sunday 8/27 10:00am-2:00pm
Wednesday 8/30 5:00pm-9:00pm**
**ATTENTION Head & Assistant Coaches: If you do not hold current CPR (AED) & First Aid certification by the August 30th session, you cannot serve as a Fall 2017 Coach. Not certified? Find resources here. Please email a photo of current certs to Grace prior to training.
Remember to get your Background Check! GOTR requires ALL volunteers to have a background check within the past 24 months. If you have had a current background check, please email a copy to Stephanie. If not, complete your background check with the following information (cost is $7.70):

PARKING: Complimentary parking is provided at the Park Row West lot across the street from BCBS. The entrance is on Moshassuck Ct. Please check in with the parking attendant and PRINT your name on the ticket provided to you.
PHOTO ID: You must present ID to the security officer stationed at the top of the lobby stairs upon arrival.
