Girls Night: On the mat.
Event Information
About this event
Physically, it takes years of training to learn how to defend yourself. What I will be sharing is basic concepts and principles that can keep you safe without having to learn physical self defense.
Learn how to detect predators, the specific phases they follow in order to carry out an assault, and their most common behaviors. In this seminar you will learn how predators operate, how to effectively set boundaries that can keep you safe.
The She-Jitsu Seminar is an empowerment-based, trauma-informed approach that makes our approach different from conventional self-defense.
Women’s empowerment comes in many forms. At its core, it is boosting self esteem, building confidence, offering support, and raising awareness through education.
Over the years, She-Jitsu has guided women down a path of transformation by developing easy to use techniques such as awareness strategies, assertiveness exercises, verbal communication skills in combination with safety strategies and physical self defense techniques to lower our overall risk and escape violent assaults.
The principles taught in this seminar will help women defend themselves physically and mentally against sexual predators; strangers and non-strangers.
There’s not a guarantee when learning how to defend yourself, but I can guarantee the self defense you will learn at She-Jitsu is practical, safe, and empowering.
Additional topics include learning the basics of distance manangement, how to avoid being subdued by a predator, and how to avoid getting pushed or pulled to the ground.
I guarantee you will leave this seminar feeling safer, more confident, and empowed by learning real physical and mental self defense that actually works!
Bring your friends, your family, and make it a fun night out!
