The need for innovation and thinking outside of the box is needed more than ever and we have endless resources to help us turn ideas into reality. Anyone can pave their own path towards innovation, whether you're a start-up entrepreneur or an intrapreneuer in a large organization. Join us for an intimate fireside chat with two successful women in technology, as they share their success stories, methods of turning inspiration into innovation and everything in between.

Renu Thomas, SVP of Technology & Operations - Disney ABC Network Group
Renu is responsible for the technical and operational strategic direction and ongoing management of all television functions across the US Domestic Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, SoapNet, ABC Family, Disney ABC Domestic Television (Syndication), Radio Disney, Equity Network portfolio relationships, shared services, post production, mastering, engineering, and technical services. Renu also provides support and collaborates with the teams in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan and Canada on operational and technical activities involving production, channel origination, mastering, satellite asset management, foreign language dubbing, duplication and distribution, real estate, advanced technology, studio operation, technical affiliate relations; project management logistics, systems, and processes.
Renu moved to Los Angeles from New York City where she was the Vice President of Operations for ABC News. Renu was responsible for setting the overall strategy and leading the operations for studios, control rooms, editing and graphics for all ABC News programs, including “Good Morning America”, “World News”, “Nightline”, “20/20”, “This Week”, and special events. She was involved in a variety of strategic projects to help prepare ABC News for the future including deploying new technology, and improving production and business processes.
Nellie Akalp is a the CEO of Corpnet.com, a passionate entrepreneur, small business advocate and mother of four. Through the various “Do-It-Yourself” and “Business-Startup” services she has founded since 1997, she has formed over 100,000 corporations and LLCs for small business owners.
Espree Devora is known as “the Girl who Gets it Done”. She has provided seminars in interactive content and social media to many corporations and universities including Georgetown MBA and USC Executive MBA. She started her first online company at the start of college and fell in love with the start up culture. Most recently she created SaveBusinessTime.com, a curated site of the best business software for startups to get things done faster. In addition to being an entrepreneur she is passionate about being a journalist for TechZulu, a media hub reporting on the growth of start ups and innovations in technology.
