Event description

Description

Women are underrepresented in executive positions within the local public sector and in order to increase the number of women leaders in government, we must inspire girls to consider public service earlier in life.

The Girls in Government Summit, presented by the City of Tustin and hosted by Council Member Letitia Clark, is a half-day conference for girls grades 8-12.

Through speakers, panels, roundtable discussions, and activities, attendees will learn about the opportunities to work and lead in areas of city hall, the police and fire departments, and elected office.

The Girls in Government Summit will empower girls to set career goals now, to help them lead and succeed in the public sector in the future.

Girls will also enjoy giveaways, music, and access to supportive organizations.
Join us for this special day of education, exposure, and empowerment.
