When & Where
Girls in Gis
Girls in Gis is a community of women and girls in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that come together through free training events which are hosted, instructed, and attended only by women and girls.
The purpose of Girls in Gis is to create a community of girls and women who train Brazilian jiu-jitsu and provide a fun, friendly environment for training.
All training events are 100% free and open to women and girls of all ages and levels. All women & girls are encouraged to participate, even if it's your first day.
Brazillian Jiu-jitsu is based on leverage and technique, not strength and size, therefore it is designed perfectly for women. The number of women who train BJJ is still very small compared to the number of men that train. By coming together from all schools we can train, learn and grow the sport for women everywhere.
