Join Girls' Game Lab in Edinburgh this February as real game developers teach an introductory workshop at Rockstar North!
Join Girls Game Lab with Red Dead Redemption 2 developers, Rockstar North on Saturday 22nd of February from 11.30am - 4pm
Girls' Game Lab is an organisation who aim to teach young girls about the games industry in the UK and how they can make their own games!
Activities will include:
- Coming up with the plot and characters for a game
- Designing a look and feel of the game using our assets or by creating your own
- Programming characters within the free app Stencyl
- Basic animation
- Designing a level and its mechanisms
- Showcase of local game developer's games!
The workshop is taught by game developers around the UK!
