Dear Parent,

 We are blessed to provide our girls with a wonderful experience:

Heritage Fellowship Church

2018 Girls Empowerment Institute Monthly Workshops

Registration and Participation in the monthly workshops are FREE. 

Workshops are every 3rd saturday of the month starting January 20th. 

***Rising 4th - 12th graders***

College prep for teens ages 14-17 years old

  • Vision: Girls will radiate God’s grace through attitude, behavior, interpersonal relationships, self-awareness, presence, and spiritual growth.

 

  • Purpose:
  • To focus resources on girls to help them develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills to make wise decisions, to make healthy choices, to manage conflict, and to care for one another
  • To provide whole person development skills related to creative arts, craftswomanship (lessons in knitting, crochet, seeing and quilting), public speaking, and physical health
  • To provide interactions with a diverse pool of career and health professionals
  • To facilitate cross-generational transfer of knowledge through the Wisdom Circle of Yesterday’s Teens
  • To help girls design a bright future based on the mission of Heritage Fellowship Church
  • Provide professional development and life skills

 

  • Outcomes:         
  • Girls will have a more authentic sense of connection to one another’s well-being
  • Girls will feel a sense of empowerment to pursue their dreams in life, college, vocation, and career
  • Girls will understand their roles as young women facing a complex world
  • Girls will be empowered with confidence and self-awareness
