Girl Scout Tech Master Workshop
Sat, May 20, 2017, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM PDT
In partnership with Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and UpTempo Tech, Girl Scouts can lean how to build a LEGO arcade controller with electronic components and a mini computer called a Raspberry Pi.
Girl Scouts will learn about the wonders of a Raspberry Pi, learn wiring skills, debugging skills and coding basics with C and Linux commands that will allow them to program the functions of the joystick and arcade buttons. When the Girl Scouts are finished they will be able to play the video game with a controller built from scratch.
Join this one of a kind class limited to six students.
UpTempo Tech Game Deign participation patch provided.
