Girl Scout Day: The Science of Cooking!

Southwest Society of Women Engineers would like to welcome 2nd- 5th grade Girl Scouts to join us for a fun- filled day packed with activities introducing engineering and science principles. With the theme of 'The Science of Cooking,' these Girl Scouts will be exposed to the endless possibilities that science and engineering can offer, and perspective for its applicability in day to day life. Disciplines to be covered include mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering.

Cost: Cost is $10 per participant at the door. Notice the Eventbrite RSVP Ticket says "Free" because you will not pay through this site, but you will still be required to pay $10 the day of the event. For troop leaders and chaperones, it is free of cost. This includes lunch, supplies, and society of women engineers badge.
