Sales Have Ended
It is with great regret that we had to postpone this event until the spring. The date shown above is not the final date. As soon as we have one, we will notify you on this website as well as all participants that have filled out applications. We encourage girls that are interested in attending this event to reserve their spot.
The Junior League of Orange County, Inc. is coordinating our first ever Girl Empowerment Expo to help middle-school aged girls gain confidence and leadership skills. We would like you to select and recruit those girls in your school that would be a good fit for this free program, and would be most likely to share what they have learned with their peers. Mental Wellness, Conflict Resolution, Positive Body Image and other topics of importance for girls in grades 6-8 will be covered in a safe and secure environment.
The event will be held at the South Middle School, 33-63 Monument Street, Newburgh, NY 12550 on November 5, 2016, from 9:00am-3:00pm. It will be mandatory that the girls attend the entire event and will be require to check in and out. An agenda containing the day’s activities and an application form have been enclosed. Application forms can be submitted via mail to JLOCNY, PO 515, Middletown, NY 10940 or email firstname.lastname@example.org no later October 28th, 2016. The application form can be found on the Junior League Website www.jlocny.org
