Gingerbread Wonderland - November Visits

Event description
Norway House and our warm family, friends, and community members are creating a Gingerbread Wonderland city in our gallery!

About this Event

Gingerbread (or in Norwegian, pepperkake) is a quintessential feature of the Norwegian holiday season. You will find gingerbread cookies, ornaments, and houses everywhere—in offices, stores, homes, and schools. Some towns and cities in Norway even go so far as to build replicas of their own city out of gingerbread!

Norway House and our warm family, friends, and community members are creating a Gingerbread Wonderland city in our gallery—a tradition we have come to love, and one that will soon be a part of your family’s annual holiday to-do list, too!

Last year, almost 15,000 people visited Gingerbread Wonderland! This year, due to public health concerns, only a third of those will safely be able to see the exhibit in person. A limited number of tickets will go on sale to the public on October 15. Members of Norway House will be able to have first access to those tickets on October 13-14.
