Lil’ Chefs will make and decorate Gingerbread Cookies to add to their pre-made Gingerbread Houses. Lil’ Chefs will learn how to make Royal Icing, use fondant, make Christmas Trees using sugar cones and plenty of candy/sprinkles to decorate their own masterpieces. We will serve hot cocoa and popcorn during class while listening to your favorite holiday jingles. Up to 2 kids per house.
Is there an age limit to attend this cooking class?
This cooking class is open to children ages 5 and up.
Is my child mature enough for this class?
Your child needs to have developed fine motor skills and the ability to follow directions.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Event Fees for missed classes are non-refundable. However, if advanced notice is given, paid fees can be credited towards future events. A $5.00 fee will apply.
What if my child has food allergies?
You are responsible for bringing this to our attention. During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to list this food allergy on your registration form. Please consider the menu being created on class day and if you have any questions about the ingredients, please feel free to contact our learning center at 949-679-8390.

My name is Tracey Doty, the owner and founder of Lil' Chef School, established in 2010. We are located in Irvine, formerly known as Young Chefs Academy. We are a children's cooking school that offers birthday parties, cooking classes, workshops, special events, field trips and camps to children from ages 3 to adult. We specialize in kitchen safety, and teach children how to cook by introducing various age-appropriate cooking techniques. We also teach children how to set and clear a table, execute proper table manners and introduce various cooking utensils and appliances and their use. We educate students on nutrition and we use all fresh ingredients and most dishes are made from scratch.
