Join host Tamara Tunie for this unique event celebrating the work of 27 theatre women from 18 countries who are using their theatre practice to make a difference in their communities and globally. This 75-minute event
o introduces audiences to LPTW and the Gilder/Coigney Award Program
o showcases the work of 22 nominees, and spotlights Finalists Iman Aoun (Palestine), Mallika Sarabhai (India), Maya Zbib (Lebanon) and Special Certificate Recipient Mihaela Drăgan (Romania) through video clips of their work
o features Keynote Speaker Teresa Eyring, Exectuive Director of Theatre Communications Guild (TCG) on the need for global collaboration and artist diplomacy
o celebrates the lifetime achievements of ground-breaking Italian performance artist Franca Valeri
o pay tributes to Award-winner Hanane Haji Ali (Leba non) and presenst her with the G/C Award, followed by her acceptance speech
