Description

Have you seen Hamilton the Musical yet? Do you know where “The Room Where It happens” is? Don’t “Wait For It” join us today in the “Greatest City In The World!”

Come sing along as we bring “Hamilton The American Musical” written by Lin Manuel Miranda to life! Learn all about the origins of New York city theatre history while walking in the footsteps of Alexander Hamilton who went from being an immigrant to a STAR! We will visit iconic locations from the musical like: Hamilton’s Bank, Kings College, Thomas Jefferson’s House, The Federal Reserve and New York Stock Exchange (where George Washington was sworn in!), and visit one of the oldest bars in town where Hamilton himself “Raised A Glass “ with George Washington and his friends.

Highlights include:
-Visit the location where the first documented performance of a musical in New York — John Gay’s The Beggars Opera took place!
–Hear stories about the immigrants who were making their way to The NEW York, The Piracy (even copyright infringement!) that took place in the new land, and the merchants and musicians who helped develop the city and musical theatre as we know it.
-Sing along with your tour guide songs from musicals like Showboat, South Pacific and other fun nautical musicals.
-Learn about theatre superstitions and other fun quirks we still do today!

*This is a unique tour that can be found no where else!
*The tour is 2 miles in length and 2.5 hours long. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended!
