How to Attend on a Limited Budget:
We know public sector budgets are stretched, and with that in mind, this year’s conference affords you numerous cost effective options for attending. Here are several ideas to minimize the cost of attending this year’s conference:
First time member agencies of GMIS Illinois can apply for a $250 Scholarship to cover the conference registration or apply to housing costs within their first year of membership. (This is for new agency members only and not agencies where the membership has lapsed. Agencies that have had budget issues can apply for a scholarship of $250. Only one scholarship is available to any single agency.)
Bring two or more people from your agency. First member registration is $250, second and subsequent member registrations are only $200 each.
Sign up for a One Day Registration for only $100, eliminating the rooming cost entirely. For just $100 you get up to five educational sessions, continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks. On Tuesday, you can also participate in the Vendor Appreciation Reception.
