Join puppeteer, Toni "Tone" Mikulka, in creating a giant puppet to be featured with other giant puppets at Berkeley Sunday Streets October 13th on Shattuck and Kittredge in downtown Berkeley. Cost to attend workshop is $5 for adults, $6 for children.
Toni "Tone" Mikulka is a puppeteer, artist, teacher, event organizer, and activist. She teaches puppet classes at Habitot Children's Museum and leads puppet productions in film, music, and video. Toni has worked with major puppet groups, such as Giant Puppets Save the World, The Big Tadoo Puppet Crew, Bread and Puppet Theater and more. Visit her website: www.tonimikulka.com to learn more.

Sunday Streets Berkeley, Sunday October 13, 2013 11am - 4pm | Shattuck Ave from Haste to Rose (17 blocks will be closed to traffic!)
On October 13, seventeen blocks of Shattuck Avenue will be closed to cars and open to people to cycle, stroll, skate, dance, and play in the open streets! The streets will be car-free and extremely family-friendly. This is not a typical street fair, as there are no vendors, but there will be many local artists and businesses "playing" in the street.
