About this event

Stimulating the Visual Cortex: Incorporating Visual Aids to Increase Diagnosis and Case Acceptance

Presented by Chad C. Duplantis, DDS, FAGD

With so much external input, it is imperative that today’s clinician utilize the technology available to us in our examinations both initially and periodically. Patients retain much more information when presented visually. The “new” diagnostic tools available to us can improve our efforts in educating our patients. By proper utilization of the diagnostic tools available, our case acceptance will soar. In addition, our clinical confidence can be improved by visual tools that enhance our diagnostic and clinical capabilities. AGD Code: 250

Educational Objectives:

• Review the initial exam and learn ways to improve your diagnostic capabilities.

• Discuss what we should be looking for to improve our patient’s overall oral health.

• Learn how photography and technology can improve diagnosis and case acceptance.

He then continued with Post-doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2000.
