Getting your business off the ground

Enterprise Skills Ladder Workshops are run by Surrey Student Enterprise and are open to all students studying any course at the University of Surrey. They are practical workshops run by experienced entrepreneurs on topics such as Funding, Marketing & Branding, Finance and exploring whether starting a business is for you.
Janet Preston leads us in getting your business off the ground: how to achieve results and make it happen. By the end of this workshop you will have:-
Learnt about the importance of planning and reviewing your plan in respinse to changing factors
Learnt how to communicate and 'sell' your idea effectively
Understood the importance of effective relationships, inclusing networks, and how to build and maintain one.
Janet Preston is Managing Director of Cold Fuzion, her own independent business consultancy.
