About the Panel:

In partnership with State Street, the Institute for Nonprofit Practice invites you to join us on February 13th from 8:30am - 10:30am for a panel discussion about best practices for disability inclusion in the workplace.

Institute President and CEO Yolanda Coentro will facilitate a conversation Catherine Hyde Townsend, Disability Inclusion Expert, Regina Snowden, MSW, Executive Director/Founder Partners for Youth with Disabilities, Inc., and Rob Surratt, AVP of Global Inclusion and Diversity at State Street.

Shane Doyle, State Street's AVP for Corporate Citizenship and Global Inclusion and Diversity, will join us virtually from State Street's Ireland office to share information about a new initiative to empower more people with a disability to gain employment. Paul Francisco, Chief Diversity Officer and Head of Workforce Development Programs at State Street, will share opening remarks.

State Street has been globally recognized as a top employer for employee development opportunities, commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion, volunteerism and family support benefits. In 2019 they received a perfect score on the Disability Equality Index, a comprehensive benchmarking tool that rates the top employers for disability inclusion, and they have received numerous awards related to workforce inclusion including: the 2017 Working Mother 100 Best Company, CR Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, Human Rights Campaign Best Places to Work 2017.

In this session, we will hone in on actionable steps and effective practices that nonprofit leaders can use to improve their disability inclusion efforts to create more diverse, inclusive, and equitable organizations.

Thank you to our partners at State Street for their most generous support of this important work.
