Learn Ozobot basics, explore color code & block coding, and access free lessons to start using robotics in your classroom right away.
In this one-hour virtual session, the 1st Maker Space Educational Service team will introduce the Ozobot Evo and Ari robots and how they can be used to teach coding and computational thinking in a fun, hands-on way. Participants will learn how Ozobots work, explore the robot’s features, and understand how they can be integrated into classroom or makerspace activities.
The session will cover the two primary ways to code Ozobots:
- Color Code programming (screen-free coding using markers and patterns)
- OzoBlockly (block-based coding for more advanced programming)
Educators will also be introduced to a variety of free resources, including lesson plans, activity guides, and online platforms that make it easy to get started right away.
By the end of the session, participants will have the confidence and tools needed to begin implementing Ozobot activities with their students.
