With the New Year clicking at our heels now is the perfect time for us to be thinking about our health and well-being and what we want from it in 2018. And the best way to do it is to use the 'Journey to Weller' Programme.

What is it you want in 2018 regarding your health and well-being?
What is it you want to change?

  • Is it that you really, and I mean really know you need to lose weight?
  • Do you know you need to get your bum off the seat and go do some exercise?
  • Is it that you long to be able to spend more quality time with your family?
  • Is it that you want to be top of your 'to do' list for a change without feeling guilt rather than at the bottom (or not even on it!!!)?
  • Is it that you need to somehow find the time to eat more healthily?
  • Do you long to be able to 'switch off' and get a better nights sleep?
  • Is it to find a healthier work/life balance?

I could go on and on!!! ...........

Wherever you are right now reading this take the next couple of minutes to think about these questions:

  • What do you want from 2018?
  • What are your thoughts?
  • What is the one thing (or many things) that pops in to your head?

Now you have a thought(s) in your head as to what it is you want for 2018 the next question I have for you is how are you going to achieve it, how are you going to make it happen?

No matter how much we wish these things would miraculously happen for us unfortunately they won't. We have to put in the hard work, the blood, the sweat and the tears to make these things happen. And, these things aren't easy to do because if they were you wouldn't be reading this advert would you?
So:
  • Are you going to be able to stay on track in achieiving your goals?
  • With life going on around you are you going to be able to stay focused on your goals?
  • When you're tired or have had a bad day are you going to feel motivated enough to carry on taking the action to achieve your goals?
  • On the days you really can't be bothered are you going to remain consistent in your actions to achieve your goals?
  • Are things ie life going to stop you from achieving your goal(s) (including yourself)!!! What are your potential barriers and pitfall you may face?
  • Are you strong enough to ignore the negative chatter that goes on in your head telling you stuff you don't want to hear?

Are you struggling to answer these questions?

Are you the sort of person that goes all out in the New Year to achieve your goal(s) only to find yourself falling by the wayside after the first couple of weeks (or days even)?

If you've answered 'YES' to this questions then you're in the right place.

How much stuff do you tell yourself and believe to be true when actually all you're doing is feeding yourself with excuses as to why not to do stuff - does this sound familiar?

Be honest, are there times when you're guilty of 'getting in your own way?

  • For fear of the unknown?
  • You don't believe you can do it?
  • You don't feel deserving enough?

It's OK to acknowledge this kind of thinking as long as it's only 'thinking' and not things we actually let ourselves believe.

Negative thinking isn't productive. It can hold us back from moving forward, from creating new opportunities, living new experiences, from bettering ourselves, from having fun, experiencing pleasure and enjoyment. We can become stuck and stagnant very quickly because of it.

Believe you can and you will - that's what they say but sometimes it's easier said than done isn't it?
As part of our 'Journey to Weller' Programme we're holding a December event where we're going to be talking about all of the above and much much more.

We're going to be sharing our tools, hints, tips and tricks on how you 'CAN' achieve your goals in 2018 and with more ease, by having total clarity about what it is you want, maintaining the right mindset to do it and growing yourself during your amazing journey.

We'll also be sharing with you our practical tips on how to avoid the potential pit falls you may face along the way.

And, we'll be setting ourselves some actions to take away with us so we're ready to start our New Year off with a 'bang'.

We'll also be exploring 'self-limiting beliefs', why we believe them and the things we can do to help to change them.

We'll be giving you our toolkit of the 5 steps to use to help you not only make the change you want to see but create an environment where you're no longer held back.
