Getting It Right For Everyone - 22nd January 2026
Overview
Getting It Right For Everyone
Join us in person for Getting It Right For Everyone!
The programme of change to improve the lives of people living in North Lanarkshire and improve the working lives of staff across all health and social care services, took shape in 2024 in the form of Back to Basics.
On the 22 January 2024, we launched the approach with a commitment to support learning across all 6 localities and with area wide services and supports. On the 22 January 2025, we had a great session, to celebrate a year of change and reflect on what we had learnt.
Within 2025, thanks to the enormous commitment and efforts across the whole system, the principles, values and practices of Back to Basics have matured into a much more aspirational and confident - Getting It Right for Everyone.
Because the 22 January has become an important part of the journey of change, we are having a further event on the 22 January 2026 to take time to reflect, to celebrate and to challenge ourselves to push even further on getting it right for everyone.
The event will be a time to reflect on how we are working together, to check out if barriers and duplication of work have reduced through better joined up working and focusing on enabling good conversations and good decision making. There will be time to focus on the language we use to build consistency.
We look forward to the day and the year ahead.
