Support and celebrate your children’s achievements in the arts:

London Borough of Culture 2019 bring Arts Award Discover to

£5 for Discover Arts Award certificate from Trinity College London.

Discover is national entry level qualification from Trinity College London. Arts Award is fun to do, supports young people’s own interests and build confidence and independent learning skills.

This year young people aged 5 to 11 can get a special Waltham Forest Discover Arts Award by taking part in the many arts activities of offer for our Borough of Culture programme, Discover is also featured in this year’s holiday activities programme. Look out for the Arts Award symbol in the brochure to see which courses can contribute.

Children can achieve this bespoke Waltham Forest Arts Award Discover by recording what they are already doing and taking part in two or more of the many free activities on offer for London Borough of Culture 2019. They also research a local artist and share their work with others.

How it works

Expert Arts Award Advisers will be also be available for drop-in conusltations at selected sessions throughout the borough during the holiday activity programme and also at weekends. See more details of these weekend sessions here

4.When advisers assess your booklet as complete, the adviser will give you a 'completed' sticker. You don't have to wait until October. Pay for your certificate ticket here and print out 2 copies of the Eventbrite reciept.

5. To recieve your certificate, stick your 'completed' sticker onto your eventbrite receipt and place inside an envelope along with an A4 stamped-addressed envelope to your home address.
