Bearings make your bike go 'round. If you let them get dried out, expensive repairs and part replacements can be in store.
This hands-on, classroom style course provides an introduction to the three basic bearing systems on every bicycle you've ever owned - the wheel hubs, the bottom bracket, and the headset. Don't know what those are? Don't worry, that's what we're here for. And all of our bicycle mechanics classes end with a guided experience working on your own bike!
What you'll learn:
How to service bearing systems, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, greasing and reassembly
How to identify parts that need replacement
How to fine-tune adjust bearing systems for smooth operation
