One-Day Workshop: Wednesday 1st November 2017, 9.30 - 5pm, Liverpool, UK.

Get The Expert Advantage and Get Noticed - with former BBC business journalist Penny Haslam

We all know that in order to get noticed, we need to raise our profile. It's good for our career and it's good for business. But this can feel overwhelming because there are so many ways to 'get out there'.

Where do you start? What should you say? And how can you showcase your talents and knowledge, without feeling like a show off?

This workshop will give you the confidence and clarity you need to get the exposure you deserve. It's for you:

  • If you want to spread the word about your company and engage your 'audiences' in an authentic, cost effective way;

  • Or you work for an organisation and know that in order to get promotion you must promote yourself;

  • And/or you want to increase your visibility and reputation as an industry expert and thought leader.

Penny's one-day workshop is a chance to learn why getting exposure is paramount for your career and your business. And she helps you learn how to do it brilliantly, so you can make the most of opportunities to raise your profile.

“Thank you Penny! I now know the value of being expert as a way of marketing my business. I’m going to get myself out there, with blogs, panels, articles, social media - and share my views!” Louise Oliver, Piercefield Oliver

Former BBC Breakfast and Radio 5 Live business presenter Penny Haslam draws on two decades of experience interviewing business men and women on live TV and national radio, observing how people put themselves across and what works well for their business image and career.

“Penny’s workshop helped us realise the benefit of showcasing our expertise.” Nicola Ruane, EY

"An awesome session that helped me develop my public presentation skills so I can get my message across and make the most of taking part in a panel discussion" Mark Williams, Director, ResultsIG

This engaging, interactive and fun workshop combines practice and theory, looking at a range of ways to get exposure and how to maximise the opportunity. By the end of the day you'll be able to:

Position yourself as an expert within your industry.

Find the best way for you to share your expertise.

Sound expert on panels, on video, at meetings and on the broadcast media.

Plan your content effectively and strategically.

AND implement my F.A.C.E model for BREVITY and IMPACT – crucial for all modern business communications.
