Live sets from:

HOT MULLIGAN

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pg/HotMulligan

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1lKZzN2d4IqiEYxyECIEHI

Bio: Michigan’s upper peninsula is trapped under what seems like permafrost for most of the year. This chilling effect makes the landmass more comfortable with stationary lives rather than lives spent outside its natural sprawl. Hot Mulligan may have been born in this green giant, but they escaped its clutches shortly after high school to beat pavement and their own neuroses-at the same time. Since 2014, the five-piece has gained ground for their earnest approach to songwriting, melding together the ferocious riffs of pop punk’s latest wave with the tenacious vulnerability of indie rock. The marriage is one shared by many bands, but on Opportunities - their latest EP earning a re-release via No Sleep Records - the courtship entangles itself in new territories, mostly in those characterized by cavernous percussion, hooks so buoyant they bob up and down, and guitar and synth interplay that belong to a much older, bolder band. The future is full of other excuses to keep moving, and for Hot Mulligan, they’re easily jumping at the chance to speed up.

THE SECOND AFTER

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/48STVXwvno3eEgQTw9GSjG

Bio: Emerging out of Durham, NC, The Second After sets their sights on bringing their own unique style to the pop-punk music scene. The quintet formed out of a group of life-long friendships in late 2014 and consists of Michael Greason (vocals), Jeremiah Greason (guitar), Ryan McDonald (drums), Nolan Shambley (bass), and Alfred Williamson (guitar/vocals). With deeply intricate and hard-thought melodies and harmonies, combined with “bouncy” and exciting energetic riffs, they are prepared to take their music scene by storm, and reignite a passion for a genre that has meant so much to so many. With touring up and down the east coast and opening for bigger bands, such as Emarosa and Hawthorne Heights, at their local NC shows, the band has started to make waves. The group recorded and released their first EP “Hit & Run” in late 2015, followed by the single “Judy Can Judge Me All She Wants”, released in August 2016. In early 2017 they released two acoustic singles, “Before I Lose” on Valentine’s Day, and “All In, Or Nothing At All” released in early June. When talking about the band's development and drive, The Second After said, "The roots of the friendships within this band run deep. We've been through a lot in life together and we're all about positivity, community, and making the most out of every moment. We wanted to capture something that was as catchy and approachable as the music we grew up in love with, but with our own take on a heavy and energetic sound, inductive of crowd interaction, that would translate well to our live show." In late 2017, The Second After signed with Revival Recordings! With the announcement of signing to a label, the band also released their first single off their EP, Treadmill At The Finish Line, titled "Homewreck Sick." The Second After does not look to be slowing down anytime soon with the releasing of their EP and touring heavily in the coming year. Treadmill At The Finish Line was released in March 2018 and is available for streaming and purchase on all digital platforms now!

EARTHER

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eartherband/

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6x7dih4fe4wnwkFoexEOb9

Bio: Earther is an indie rock band from Raleigh, NC. Started in 2017 by three best friends in their garage, the band has quickly grown from basement show warriors to packing out larger clubs and touring the country. Earther abides by the “less is more” mentality - packing the sonic intricacy and fullness usually reserved for larger bands into a three-person roster. Guitarist Henry Boyd and drummer Daniel Ayers draw from emo, pop punk, and post rock influences to create a dynamic instrumental section, while vocalist and bassist Joel Bloch uses surreal, dream-inspired lyricism to express his own life experiences and give the band a relatable, poignant voice. Earther will be releasing their debut EP, “The House Always Wins”, later this year on Revival Recordings. The band plans to spend the rest of the year touring and promoting their release, sharing their music and their story with as many new people as possible. Their new single, "Wanted," is available to stream on all digital platforms and purchase on iTunes now!
