About this event
Get Ready For the Comeback is a back to school event for all Durham, NC youth! The event is to encourage all children and teens that despite this past school year, a year full of Covid and online classes, they will do exceedingly well in this upcoming school year. The event is hosted by a inner city mentorship group by the name of Girls on Fire. A group that specializes in mentoring young girls from the ages 13 to 18. We want to let the youth of Durham know that they have an entire community that supports them and wants to see them succeed. Join us on August 22nd from 1pm to 5pm at East End Park for games, food, inspirational messages by community leaders, school supplies and so much more.
