TOM GRANT, master instrumentalist, talented singer and natural entertainer nimbly walks the line between jazz tradition and modern pop. This soft-spoken Oregon native’s inspired songwriting produces propulsive R&B grooves, infectious melodic hooks, and stylish ballads with equal ease. He plays jazz piano with the harmonic sophistication and deep sense of swing that only comes from more than four decades on the bandstand.

During the 70’s, Tom played with jazz luminaries like trumpeter Woody Shaw, saxophonists Joe Henderson and Charles Lloyd. His most life-changing gig was with drummer Tony Williams who himself transformed the 1960’s Miles Davis Band both musically and commercially into a worldwide jazz phenomenon. With Tony and bassist Patrick O’Hearn, Tom recorded and toured worldwide from 1978-1980.

In the 80’s and 90’s Tom was considered by many to be the father of the Smooth Jazz sound, recording albums on major labels including Verve, Shanachie and Windham Hill. Several of these shot to number one on the Smooth Jazz charts.

Tom has appeared on the Jay Leno show and was featured in many of the national music mags as well as in a CNN news spot. He’s also enjoyed large followings in Indonesia and Japan.

SHELLY RUDOLPH, Soul-jazz-pop chanteuse Rudolph has long been a favored voice around her hometown of Portland, Oregon, and musical travels have taken her to New York, Los Angeles, the West Indies, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and beyond. She has been dubbed a “robust and captivating vocalist” by Jazz Times, "A soulful vocalist that prefers not to be contained." by Midwest Record and the LA Weekly praised her ability to use her “honey-glazed throat to send chills up and down your spine.”

The ever-evolving--and expanding--Shelly Rudolph story continues onward and upward with the release of her latest album, the ambitious and atmospheric The Way We Love (OA2,2020). Long a poet as well as a songstress, The Way We Love showcases her poetic and sensual expressivity against a sumptuous bed of GRAMMY winner David Darling’s cello tones. With this latest album, Shelly Rudolph is poised to rise in the ranks of voices of the must-hear caliber, on a global scale. Ensembles have ranged from intimate duets to Jazz Orchestras and most everything in between.  As a songwriter and vocalist she has collaborated and recorded with: Grammy-winning cellist David Darling, David Piltch (kd lang), Ken Stange (Joe Cocker), David Mathews (Etta James), Tom Lackner (Airto and Flora Purim) smooth jazz pioneer Tom Grant and Pink Martini's Phil Baker.

CHRISTOPHER BROWN, As a Portland native who seeks to be a leading voice within the advocacy of Jazz and American culture, Christopher's collage of experiences between the military, academia, and the entertainment industry helps to lend a weight of credibility to the parallels that he continually draws between music and society as a whole. Brown has worked with the likes of Beyonce, Roy Hargrove, Benny Golson, Branford Marsalis, John Patitucci, George Colligan, Randy Brecker, Ralph Bowen, Vic Juris, Buddy Defranco, Terry Gibbs, Delbert Felix, David Sanborn, Steve Turre, Sean Jones, Antonio Hart, Vincent Herring, Dave Liebman, Jimmy Heath, Wess Anderson, Chuck Israels, Dave Valentine, Paquito D’Rivera, Conrad Herwig, Esperanza Spaulding, and many others. And as of 2018, Christopher is officially a retired Army soldier. In addition to his numerous performance credits, he holds two music degrees from Rutgers University.

The Christopher Brown Quartet features a who’s who of regional and national musical stars: Greg Goebel (keys), John Nastos (sax), and Ross Garlow (bass).
